CHAPTER ON PRACTICE
Book TWO: Sādhana Pāda
In yoga philosophy, the practitioner who skillfully commits the body, breath, and mind to discipline is called a “sādhaka” from the root, “sādh”, which means to “go straight toward a goal.” This second chapter, Sādhana Pāda, outlines the practices that lead straight to success, starting with kriyā yoga and moving into the first five limbs of aṣṭaṇga yoga.
